But, you can't blame the Rangers for paying ARod 250 million if they then profit from it, just like you can't blame Elle for charging 500 if she profits from it. I don't subscribe to a Market-controlled society (with oil men controlling the white house), but as an economist I believe that market forces do function at the micro level.

For the first time in several years I went to the Orioles Friday night, they came back from 6-0 to win 11-7. It was awesome. I paid 75 bucks for three tickets just past first base. Fireworks too. If they strike, we'll see how their markets react. Otherwise, I'm not going to analyze it, and I'll just find something else to listen to at night when I fall asleep. Maybe I can find Rush Limbaugh.
