It's certainly a popular area. DC itself is less attractive, mostly due to parking. Plus I know some ladies who no longer visit DC because of safety issues.

The only other spot near DC that many ladies visit is the BWI area. Lots of hotels minutes away from the airport.

I neglected to mention that Crystal City, Pentagon City and Arlington are spots to consider also since they're right across the river from DC, and sometimes I see ladies posting that they're in Alexandria.

Tyson's Corner, Falls Church, Vienna, Mclean, etc are all basically the same. Sometimes ladies will spend time out by Dulles airport too, although BWI is a more popular spot in my opinion.

Thank you guys so much! DC seems so compact and so complexed at the same time but it is awesome thought lol!

Disagree about downtown as an option that more travelers should consider. Given current donation levels, does an extra $30 for a parking garage really make a difference? And lots to do downtown other than shopping and eating which is pretty much all Tysons offers.

Do agree about Arlington and Crystal City. Much easier drive/traffic compared to Tysons for any client that lives or works in downtown.

Well, I'm generally paying 350-500 max and am very happy and those $30 hits add up.

And yes, a lot more to do in downtown DC like get robbed, shit, carjacked, etc lol.

Not to mention parking in DC usually leaves a paper trail.  Unless I can do all cash, I don't do it.

ℹ usually get a room after I get a solid booking with a deposit to secure the date. I inquire as to where my new friends prefer. I don’t get a lot of traffic & prefer not to stay where all the other providers who tour do.  I will be there next month and am excited to check out some museums. Culture.

A lady I saw a few times before she vanished set up our date at a particular hotel. For some reason prior dates were in hotels with card key elevators and I gave her some good-natured grief over that.

Anyway, she told me what hotel she'd be at and that the elevators didn't need a key and I said "Yes, I know - I'm familiar with that hotel" and she replied "Don't tell me that it's a ho-tel - I don't like staying in those places."

Despite the traffic at most times of the day, Tyson's offers lots of hotels and short term stay places that are perfect for travelling gals.

Not to mention the area's best shopping and good restaurants.

DC sucks ass, with the 25mph speed limits/ cameras/ and no right turn on red everywhere.  Add in a 10% meal tax?

MD recently had an Asian agency out of MoCo and offered nice young Asian gals.  Hope that they survive.  With all of the MoCo cops retiring en masse due to the lib politics, maybe they'll focus on real crime instead.  Taking the dreaded American Legion Bridge to Tyson's and sitting in traffic is horrendous.  It would be nice to be able to hobby closer to home.

Baltimore?  Near BWI seems to be ok with the many hotels, but not much else, unless you can shell out the $$$ and take the gal to MD Live! casino for a multi hour date.

Tysons is my number one followed by Dulles and then BWI.  Crystal City can also great.  I've even often thought about hosting in Old Town (Alexandria), but I've never followed through.

All the complaints about parking in DC are true. But there is the Metro and a lot of professionals, young and old, use it everyday. Plus there is Uber, and a fair number of gentleman arrive that way, even at Tysons and Dulles.

It's also true that is seems like most elevators in town do require a key card. However, that's really easy to overcome with a little bit of coordination. Besides, if you've ever toured NYC, I'm sure you're used to it. And even if you haven't, but plan to someday, or a lot of other downtowns - Boston, Chicago, Charlotte, etc,  you'll have to figure that out.

As far as where to host, Dupont Circle and the West End have always been good for me.  In fact, a  couple of times they've been amazing. That said, I don't host in the District often so maybe that's why.

But I've never felt unsafe in either area. Plus there are great restaurants and bars in both. Some really nice hotels too.

For all of it's drawbacks, don't forget the daytime population in DC jumps from 700,000 fullt time residents to over 1 million people. A lot of those 300,000+ "extra" people are well paid professionals and about half of them are men...

That said, I wouldn't spend more than a couple of days in the District as part of any area tour.  Not because it doens't work.  But because gentlemen in the District are far more likely to come to Northern Virginia than are gentlemen in Norther Virginia to come into DC.  However, I know from personal experiece there are a ton of guys, who for a number of reasons just aren't able to make the trip across the Potomac into VA.

I think it's worth mentioning Crystal City and Arlington. Both are great areas to visit!

The Crystal City area, parts of Arlington, and cities on the Orange line such as Rosslyn, Clarendon, Ballston, etc, are easily accessible by Metro.  There are lots of hotels within walking distance of the stations.
