Tysons isnt really great for nightlife. Food yes, nightlife no...I would take a cab to Arlington. The area between Ballston and Rossyln particularly around Clarendon has several really nice restaurants and nightlife as well. Definitely beats Tysons and you wont have to shlep all the way into DC. Google the subject and you'll find lots of options.. Hope visit is working out for you!
