I was wondering how many times you need to visit BG before extras. I have read they will do but not tell after how many visits.

for things like FIV or DATY you can just ask nicely first time.  Other things, wait til your second or third. You might try asking about doing 'extra for extra?' to avoid awkward bluntness.
