Concerns about safety while visiting Baltimore are overblown. Unless you're comming to town to cop dope or street walkers you're safe. BPD heavily patrols the hotel, resturant and theater districts. In addition these estblishments often hire off duty officers to provide security and the downtown, Innerhabor East, and Midtown Business districts have security personnell patorlling those areas.

What do you mean "there"? If you don't live in Baltimore I don't suggest driving around after 10 or 11 in the hood. And if you're trolling for girls on the block , well.... eww.

I personally dont find it any worse than any other major city. There is always going to be areas where crime is high. Be that in Bmore, DC, NYC, or Arizona. Thats just the way things are. Personally I love Bmore but there are places i WONT go in this city after dark....but again there are places like that in DC as well. Just be aware of your surroundings is my advice :-)
