I was on TER messenger the earlier day and was contacted by a guy who asked me about a popular board poster.
“ I see you know XXX who has over XXX reviews and I saw he wrote a review on you, do you remember seeing him and what can you tell me about him?”

After getting over being appalled and be embarrassed for him due to his lack of tact, I responded “In what compactly I know him or not is irrelevant to you as far as I am concerned. It’s just like you and I meeting and some unknown asking me about you. I’m sure you understand.”

When I chose to be a provider I understood that discretion was paramount. To put bluntly, that is what I am being paid for. Discretion should be the middle name of EVERYONE who works in this industry, especially Providers and Agency owners. Likewise, guys have no reason to ask about other guys, or gals for that matter.

Gents ( and the few ladies that hobby) rely upon us to keep their name out of the paper, off the TV, out of the media, etc., but recently I’ve seen too many escorts opening their mouths for their own self interests.

If a client is abusive I can understand, but if he/she isn’t, one of our jobs as a provider is to keep your mouth SHUT! This is for Provider and Hobbyist alike.

This post should prove to be really beneficial as a gentle reminder of what can happen when you encounter loose lips. Discretion should never be forgotten and in certain situations,hoewver for example when keeping an appointment, many times common sense is left far behind.

This is a matter of course and obviously applies Ladies and BOTH Gents. Seriousness and absolute discretion should ALWAYS assured.
PERIOD.

Why would a guy want to know information about another guy anyway?  That strikes me as being very odd.  Furthermore, even if it were a provider asking, I would not tell her a thing about anyone who has reviewed me.  

I have not had this happen to me in TER messenger yet.  But if it did, I would respond as you did or not at all.

This is so on point, I was going to start this thread but if you don't mind: GENTLEMAN DO NOT CALL A LADY AND ASK HER IF SHE PROVIDES SEXUAL ACTIVITY!

How many disclaimers, pop ups, side notes, bold lettering does a lady need for guys to stop asking them to provide sexual services for cash? I mean really, are we still that barbarik? Honestly people, we do not put all that info on our sites to fill in space. Generally if you just took the time to read a page or two, read reviews, at the least skim them for pertinant information, some of you may not get the rude, uninterested behavior you so often complain about. A little administrative lead time goes a long way. Not to say ladies shouldn't mind their p's and q's as well but how would you feel if every time you answered your phone someone was saying can I cummmm in you mouth? are you full service, GFE. Do you not understand those terms can be understood to be solicitation? All I ask is take some time out, just as you don't want to be treated the same as the next guy, ladies want to be treated as individuals too. Before you look at the pictures and let your little head take action, use your big head. Do some research and see if this is your type lady, if not move on, if so, A SURE FIRE WAY TO MISS YOUR DREAM GIRL IS TO ASK HER TO PERFORM A SEXUAL ACT.  

Again read a review or 2. You should be able to tell the type of lady you are getting, and if you can't then maybe just maybe......

Safety and discretion are key to our little world!!

Maybe LE trying to get info? Or a guy who has a man-crush on the hobbyist.

Some people are greatly lacking in common sense and descretion which is sad and can also be very dangerous in certain situation concerning the hobby. Yes we are here to have fun and let loose but we cant let our guard down and think that whatever is said behind closed and between two people will stay there. I have come across to many people that are QUICK to pass juicy info and personal info along with no thought! It really is awful and we should just all know better. It is always best just to keep your mouth shut.

I think everyone here is smart enough to know it is not good to talk or to pry about personal information about anyone. Why some do it is really unknown to me, but still they do. some people are idiots, blind or just plain dangerous!

His wife (or her divorce attorney) could have found out about his hobbying and created a hobby account. She might be looking for additional evidence to skewer him.

The closest I get to something similar is if I refer a guy to a lady, and know that he saw her. Then I might ask the lady how is the guy - just to make sure he was nice to her and I can refer him to other ladies.
