Your PC probably had a cookie which pre-answered some of the search fields for you. If cookies are enabled on your Mac it will work the same way, just be sure to specify the country & city the next time you do a search. I have no issues using a Mac with Safari or Firefox as the browser.
I had a pc and used TER search on it without problem. I have switched to a Mac and now when I try to use the search it doesn't go directly to that provider but to a review page for numerous providers. Am I doing something wrong? Just wondering if there were any other Mac users that could help!! Thanks
Should not be a problem. I use only Macs. Fro TER and hobbying, I use Camino browser, to keep it separate... However, I just tried in Safari - which is what you must be using? - and everything seems to work the same. I type a provider's name, after specifying US and Washington DC, and it gives me a list of matches.
Some sites, indeed, seem to be made exclusively for IE, and you'll have trouble on a Mac. Those are mostly financial websites. Firefox browser helps 99% of the time. The weirdest recently was MD Motor Vehicle site - some odd version of Java Script, worked only with Camino (after not working on a PC I tried!).
