I definitely recommend Dupont Circle or the Foggy Bottom area.  Both are accesable by metro and plenty of hotels to select from. However...you do need to consider...you are basically here during a busy DC weekend.  If you are all about high volume biz that could be a prob..If ya want to have some fun  [ besides seeing STP that is] while here it is a great weekend.  Jon Stewarts rally is on the Mall on the 30th...easy metro ride if you are in Dupont...And of course, you will be here for Halloween...The Dupont area is one big party that night.  Good luck...and the odds are [ get it..odds...because you are from LV....cummon..that's suppose to be funny]...you are gonna have a great time in DC !

DuPont Circle, Capitol Hill, or Adams Morgan areas in DC, and they are popular with visiting ladies.

If you chose DC proper, I would suggest you get a hotel as close as possible to a metro station, as DC traffic can be a nightmare at times.

Tysons Corner, Fall Church, McLean, or Arlington areas in Northern VA.

All areas in Northern VA with the exemption of Arlington are not Metro accessible, but the traffic is not as bad as DC.

Bethesda and Rockville in MD are also a good areas, and easily accessible. Bethesda is Metro accessible, but not Rockville.

Gaithersburg is a good distance from DC Metro area, and I do not think many people are willing to drive that distance, also I am not familiar with that area.

Maybe others can on this board can provide more helpful suggestions.

Good luck to you, and have a safe trip.

P.S. you look stunning in your pictures, and stellar reviews. I hope to find some time in my crazy schedule to see you.

You reputation preceeds you and I hope your visit is successful! Im excited you thought of us as I am pretty familiair with Vegas and know of you and the status you enjoy there.
Vegas being Vegas, that says a lot!

Guys, Mars is one of the absolute best Las Vegas has to offer(in case your curious)

As to possible locations for you, those already mentioned are good and here is one more..Foggy Bottom..It is between DuPont Circle and Georgetown. Has some nice hotels and more importanly parking and METRO accesss! This is a big deal in DC as Adams Morgan has poor parking and no METRO..The same goes for Georgetown though there is somewhat better parking in Georgetown.

Your best bet is probably to go an online travel site like Orbitz or Hotels.com and see who is offering a deal. You have lots of options and deals can be had if you look, just like looking at hotels Las Vegas.

Gaithersuurg and Rockville are a little outside the mainstream but are very nice areas. There is a reluctance for some to travel to Maryland (and visversa) if you live in Virginia because of traffic headaches.

I would suggest maybe trying to stay in two areas, on in DC and one in Va or MD and see how you do in each.

Again, Im flattered you thought of us and hope DC holds up its' end of the bargain Mars.

Guys, do your research..lol.

No, Rockville is quite accessible by Metro.  The red line (of Metro) runs parallel to Rockville Pike (where most hotels are) and has quite a few stops and ends at Shady Grove which is the beginning of Gaithersburg.

I've seen quite a few providers in Rockville and it's a nice suburb.

And the obvious follow-up question is...

Would seeing STPhomer be a trick or treat? (Or both?) And how long until a lady realizes the spooky mask is really just you?   ;-)

also a good number of hotels which are Metro accessible in the Thomas Circle & Scott Circle areas, and another group near Union Station.  I would avoid Georgetown, expecially since it is overrun with partiers on Halloween to the point that one can barely walk, never mind drive or park.
You should also know that there is a group of hobbyists who simply won't go into DC because they like to drive everywhere and never or rarely use Metro.  For these the 2-location idea is good, couple of nights downrown to provide for the Metro-friendly hobbyists, and a couple in Tysons, Rosslyn or Crystal City for the hardcore drivers.  If you don't want to do 2 places, take a look at Crystal City in Arlington, there are about a dozen hotels there (2 Marriotts, Hyatt, Hampton, Hilton, etc.-don't recommend the Crown Plaza it has key card controlled elevators), there is a Metro station, it is very convenient to Reagan National Airport, and there is extensive underground parking, which is all free after 4:00 PM and all day on wekends, and pretty reasonable  for a couple of hours visit.
And if you are anywhere near a Metro stop you can pretty easily get to most places in DC, all the Museums on the Mall, Dupont Circle restaurants & clubs, etc.

and I saw your ads. However, I ended up being sick most of the time I was there and couldn't make an appointment. Even though I was sick, I was basking in the thought of your presence Mars....just absolutely amazing and stunning lady with reviews that any provider would die for. I hope I can find time on your schedule while you're here.

And no surprise - there are some in DC who wont cross the moat and go to rockhell!   so, with your reputation, i bet you will book quickly anywhere.  (DC is much more fun, for when you need a break).
