Coming to Washington at the end of the month.  Looking for a good time!  Staying at the Gaylord.  Send pictures and details!

With no credibility, I don't think anyone will bite. LOL

Alright, I HAVE TO KNOW... can anyone discreetly tell me here or PM me what the heck happened at the M&G... I'm so glad I missed the sign up now. And, let's be forgiving with Yoko if that is where thats coming from. It IS easy to get spooked in this little biz/hobby we all participate in. I see it on both sides. Personally, and from gentlemen. Somebody message me! Curiosity won't kill the cat, I promise... it's killing me now. ;)

But that's been removed for some reason. Strange isn't it.

One LE showing up could result in 50+ misdemanors. It is like catching an agency- A big prize for LE. Always be discreet!

Gaylord isnt the safest location. Check out the crime and murder rate around the Gaylord and between the gaylord and the beltway.

The M&G was a huge sucess in spite of mother nature trying to make travel a little dicey at the last minute. There were no problems so please don't start speculative rumors about possible LE issues (yes, NewButWise, I'm referring to you). There was a thread with everyone complementing the event and yes it did get removed, but it was only done as a cautionary action as there was a concern about possibly too much information being shared about the event in folks enthusiasm for expressing how great it was. The request to remove the thread was made by one of the party planners. That team did an excellent job of putting the party together, and have remained concerned about the safety and security of the participants even after the event. And no, I wasn't part of the party planners, but I have talked with one of them since, in fact the person that requested that the thread be removed, so this isn't just me guessing.

Under an alias no less. I'm sure the event was a success, HOWEVER the Party Planners have made it WELL KNOWN that information about their event is on the hush. If they had a post removed on the meet and greet board(and I saw said post) what makes you think YOUR post is going to result in anything positive? Also, who cares if you spoke to the party planners. That doesn't prove anything unless someone backs you up. They strive on secrecy and discretion. For you to post is NOT cool. Ether Yoko, Betty or other known planners will post what ever info is needed or necessary to defuse any rumors or announce any information. You posting under an alias is not cool, desired, nor required.

Save your feelings from being hurt and keep your mouth shut.

Yes, we are always concerned for the privacy and safety of our guests. And we did, in fact, ask to have the post on the M & G board removed for the reasons you stated.

There are always going to be those people who will start rumors or bad mouth us. That's OK, we know that most people  recognize the rumor mongerers for what they are.

Then there are the jealous types who try to show that they are close to some of us. We feel they are simply trying to ride our coattails by showing false support. Sound pathetic? Well, we will allow others to be the judge.

Thank you again for your support. We usually need to decompress a bit after the parties and don't always look at the boards as thoroughly as we might otherwise do. Your post is very much appreciated.
