I'm not really new to "hobbying".  I lived in Costa Rica, Colombia, and Argentina for various amounts of time.  I've been seeing providers on and off for about 15 years.  I'm a member of a couple of international bulletin boards.  But I've only been a member of TER for about six months.  I know that among the expat and international hobbyist community,  there are activities and events for hobbyists that take place off the board.  Do we (TER members) do the same?  If so, what is the best way to  keep up with that kind of thing?

This board hasn't done any meet and greets for awhile. The NYC board does meet and greets but I don't know how you'ld go about being invited.
