not to give you her hotel location once she has screened you and confirmed an appointment.

Her personal security only comes into play once the room number is given -- unless she is staying in a bed and breakfast!

Is it at the actual traffic circle?
Is it a few blocks away from the traffic circle?
Does it include Woodly Park?
What about Farragut North area?
On a few occasions, the lady does not provide hotel name but says to call her when I get to DuPont. I have gone to Du Ci many times but only to learn I need to go another mile or two to get to her hotel.  Uggg..

Don't set out without an address, I don't.  It's impossible to plan timing, parking, etc. without knowing where you're going.  If you can't at least get a hotel name and street address before you leave, I'd say it's likely you'll run into some difficulties.

I've had appointments with ladies in Dupont, most of which were within a few blocks, but others further away.  Get a fix before you go or leave yourself a ton of time.

I have the same problem with Tysons.  Some agencies and providers really stretch the boundaries of what is considered Tysons Corner and it can be problematic with traffic.

...is unreasonable, in my opinion.  I'm not sure just what is gained by sending one to the wrong address, but I can appreciate their perceived need to do so.  I can always schedule away from rush hour, but I appreciate that many others can't.

I was so pissed time one time that one agency had me drive all the way to Falls Church. The girl was advertized to be in Tyson's Corner.  Falls Church is not Tyson's people.....

Thankfully, I had good time with the girl, so no complaints there...

I have visited Dupont Circle area many times on buisness, day tripping, pleasure and dining. It seems at times to stretch from Gerogetown to the White House. I went there once on verbal directions only to find out that I needed to repark the car in Adams Morgan area.  Many people do not get the whole Map geography thing or directions in General.  My last doctors visit had me driving in circles trying to get to his office.  Thats why I now prefer to travel with my GPS, even if I have to unplug it from the car and carry it down the sidewalk. Give me an actual street address. Tell me where the nearest parking is, even if you only use the subway.

a well-recognized place name while Thomas Circle, Scott Circle, Logan Circle, etc. are not.  And if the provider said 'Downtown' that could be almost anywhere.  I have been to a few providers who were actually a lot closer to one of these than Dupont Circle.  Since I always travel by Metro downtown, as long as I know the location of the hotel before I start out I can figure out which Metro Station to use (sometimes Farragut North or McPherson Square are closer than Dupont Circle).  One time I didn't have the hotel name until I was already at a Metro station but simply googled it on my handheld and got the location, and I know downtown and the Metro system well enough to know which station to use.  But I nearly always get the hotel ID at least the morning of if not the night before so it's never been too great a problem.  I can see that it would if you were driving downtown.
And I almost never go to Tysons anymore, the construction and traffic are just too bad.  I told someone the other day that if a reputable store in Tysons was giving stuff away I probably wouldn't go!  Last time a saw a lady there it took me 45 minutes to get from her hotel to the Beltway!!
