Be careful about posting rates...

So, I spend a lot of time trying to decide who I want to see and so that usually involves looking at websites.  This is something that I also do for my day job so hopefully some of the ladies will take this into account.

- Use page titles that are obvious.  You're lucky if people spend more than a minute on each page and 2 minutes total on your website and most gentlemen want to find things quickly.  For example: using the page title "photo" or "pictures" is obvious and will get more attention than creative labels such as "Visuals" or "The sights"  or "tickling the optic nerve".

- Calendars: Please use them and update them or at least post when you are in town.  Eros does a lousy job keeping their site updated with info on touring providers.  Date-check lists lots of providers that are "featured" or "touring" but you have no idea of when or where they will be available so you may have to go to a providers site to find out when they will be in town.

- photos - yes, they are important and professionally shot photos are nice.  My opinion is that most of the photos these days are way too air brushed.  I like to see some candid photos or maybe of you doing an activity you enjoy.  I love lingerie and nudes but a few other type of photos thrown in are nice too.

- links to reviews of some type are important.  I like to know a woman is legit and what may be on the menu, (YMMV).  There are no guarantees, but like many, I've been around the block, so I can tell what's real and what's not.

- Rates: Be clear.  Bullet points are best.  Personally I would separate the description of the service from the prices but if you like to include them together, then highlight the hell out of the price; that is what most hobbyists are looking for so don't hide it.

- Short and sweet is the key: Long stories of how you got into the business or philosophical prose and historical data is overkill.  If you want to include that stuff, then put it further down the page or after the photos and rates page.  Blogs pages are nice but way down the list for most people looking at your site, so it rates low on the priority list.

- Contact: email address and phone are all that's necessary and make sure to include your preference of contact.  You can also put what you require for appointments on this page too, references, verification, etc.

If I were going to design a site for a provider, I would put your information prominently displayed as such:

1. Current Location and dates available, (include what day you check out or a last appt. time)
2. Photos
3. Links to Reviews
3. Rates
4. Contact
4. More information or blogs

Just my 2 cents.  Take what you like and leave the rest.

Especially on the page titles and photos bit.

OP is right: most hobbyists don't care to spend time thinking about where to find the important info on your site.

Photos are the most important. They are what men look at first obviously. If your photos are terrible, and by that I mean too small, too airbrushed, too ambiguous, I quickly move on...I honestly don't care what the rest of your site says.  Nothing worse than seeing a tiny photo of nothing but a headless woman in a black dress, showing little skin or curves.  What's the point really? Could be anyone.  Harsh but true.

for companies, and this post is all good.

Would add that your contact information should be on each page.  If I get to a certain page and decide to contact you, don't make me dig backwards to where I saw the info, or even click over to your contact page.  In other words, don't give me time to change my mind.  Just have it in a straight line at the bottom of each page.

Put your most provocative picture on the homepage.  I am going to take that initial look at you and decide "yes or no" as to continuing on your site.  I love seeing you in different situations and types of attire, adds to the fantasy, but blow me away with that initial image.

30% of men have a foot fetish, and I would imagine even more with stockings/pantyhose.  Include pics without the shoes.  And for goodness sake, PLEASE travel with the lingerie that you are wearing in the pictures!  You created the fantasy, I am looking to "live it" !

:-)

...that similar advice holds true for the Ad Board posts here on TER.

Personally, if see a post on the Ad Board about a provider coming to visit the DC area and have to wade through 5 long paragraphs of flowery prose (with no pic or info about rates) followed up with a link to a provider's site, I'll usually just move on. I've already waded through the post and don't really want to go wade through the provider's website when there are other providers who post the info I'm looking for.

Here's what I look for in an Ad Board post:

-- A pic that shows the provider's body and, preferably, face (though a blurred face is not a deal-breaker)

-- Rates

-- Dates and the general locations where the providers will be in the area

-- Stats (height, weight, age)

-- Screening info

-- A brief paragraph that gives me an accurate idea of the providers personality and bedroom interestes.

Those few things will probably drum up much more business for the provider.
