Hmmmm, to the point of the thread......simply put using an Alias for asking general questions regarding a BP AD or any other Ad for that matter makes no sense no matter how you couch it.

Regarding BP.....I've found a few GEMS on BP over the years.....but sometimes the GEMS are not worth the effort time wise.  For the time and risk it took me to find a BP Gem I could have shpped via more reliable resources and been done with the search in shorter time.

With that said, I guess it depends on my mood, the hunt for a BP gem adds to the excitement.  Of course when you arrive at the location and you learn that you have now TOFTT then the excitement quickly fades. ROFLMAO!!!

And yes, ALLL the fake PICs are a bear to wade through.

The pics are speaking to me... And to my little friend.  Any one tried this one yet?

I haven't seen her, but I was kind of in the similar situation the other night on the way home. Flipped on BP on the mobile and made a call. It wasn't exactly her, but one of the many of the girls who apparently use that user name to post. When I made the call, I was told Falls Church, but they wouldn't give me the name of the hotel - just the address. At that point, I'd already made up my mind that I wasn't going, but just for S&Gs I drove by the address since it was on my way home. It was some trailer park hotel that would make the Motel 6 look like the Ritz. It was a good call.

It just seems like bad news all the way around.

The pics are speaking to me too...but they're speaking Spanish, so I can't understand 'em.

They're also speaking through BP and that's where I go deaf

If you look at the ads the age is 22,23,24.

Wonder if the person will be the same.

You take your chances on the unknowns.

Drove by the location yesterday - truly sketchy.  I'd been there once before and it was not good all-around, outside and in.  The bad location is enough reason in my mind to pass.  And if it is the same provider as last time, that is also good reason to pass.

On a separate note, what difference does it make what name I use to post this question, alias or otherwise?  I truly don't understand the objection - I'm open to being enlightened and convinced if you'd give your reasons....

Well....
1) I don't see why you'd use an alias.  Generally speaking a person uses an alias when something either is illegal, the expect nasty criticism, or they are LE or something like that.  Nothing in yyour commentary needs hiding from.  So its curious.
2) It would be easier for a LE to set a trap with an alias than with a name and established history.  An alias conveys a secondary reason behind the posting....and in this line...being secretive about makes folks naturally question why...what else is going on here.
3) If there's a valid reason for an alias...point it out.  Your point was so general (not specific to you) that its hard to understand why you'd post something general under a veil.
4)

All good points.

I guess the reason I used an alias is that this provider is a bit of a departure for me.  It is a little more down market than the other providers I have visited and reviewed.

Fair or not, I sometimes feel like there is a bias against Backpage providers on this board.  As time goes by, I am becoming more of a fan of Backpage.  There are some hidden gems that are a great value and make it a very worthwhile place to shop.

What does everyone else think?  Is there a bias against Backpage?  I for one would like start to see more coverage of the Backpage providers.  It would make shopping a bit easier if there was more of a robust discussion of what's on Backpage.

To that end, maybe I'll put my pen where my mouth is and start writing more (reviews and postings) about what I see there...

I have saved 1000's of dollars seeing backpage providers. My only complaint is all the fake pictures. It takes a lot of work to find the gems. I am finding GFE services with attractive providers for $150-$200/hour on a regular basis. Some even include greek without an up charge. The visiting ones seem to be of the best value.
