Just to be correct; the spelling for the posterior part of the body that contains two cheeks and a crack is:  Tuckus (although apparently you may also spell it tuchis).  Having said that, there is nothing more attractive than a nice tuckus....especially on women.  Have a splendid Tuckus day!

Sort of.  There several variations on the spelling depnding on what dialect of Yiddish you speak (Vilna is different than Kiev area). The YIVO institute sort of standardized it but that resulted in a loss of a lot of the character of the dialect. The book Born to Kvetch is a great read on this.

Like a lot of things in Yiddish it doesn't literally mean what it does or how it is used.  "tuchis" or "tochis" means  "under" or "beneath" and while often is used as a vulgar term for one's backside it really is something else.  During Exodus tuchis were the round stool like rocks the Hebrews sat on while eating manna. God forbid they should have to sit on the ground, in the dirt....

but enough of that. I am here to enjoy the pictures of the pretty butts, not lecture

I hope to do more than bounce quarters off of them. Actually I have to admit, bouncing quarters off you tushy wasn't what crossed my mind.   Might just be my last bit of fun before I go in the hospital in December (and after that I will be on the injured reserve list for several months and can't play)
