I would expect a response within a day.

Look, a lot of ladies are busy but if they are in their home area and not touring I would expect that they should devote some time to admin each day. I can't remember the last time I didn't get a response within a few hours of an appointment request if I was already screened.

If you provide up front everything she requests, I expect an answer by the following morning.  
A few regulars I see who happen to do their own administrative stuff, tend to go into a mind-set during their meetings throughout the day, and leave this stuff until later.

Now, if you neglect to provide some stuff, then expect to be pushed to the back of her inbox and depending on how busy she is; you may or may not get a reply.

Personally for me I have a couple rules of thumb I go with..  

 
No matter when the appointment is, I don't like to wait for more than 48 hrs.. If someone can't get back to me within 48 hrs, either they are not reliable or busy with something else in the life, and business is low priority.  

 
The closer we are to the appointment the less I want to wait.  If the appointment is tomorrow morning, and I am texting or emailing tonight, I don't want to wait more than an hour or two..  If the appointment is in next couple of hrs, I don't want to wait more than 5 min.  If I am already there, I don't want to wait more than few seconds..  

 
Some of the appointments I book are 2-3 months in advance.. So I am not really keen or immediate response, but close we get to it, the important speed becomes..
