It's very hard to prove negative... On top of that those who get 9s and 10s all the time often complain about a one off sub par review.. I said sub par.. It's not even a bad review.
Since you decided to post on TER about how you were able to prove to them that it was Fake, lets hear it.. Make your case..
If you're going to make this type of post provide some of your proof to the community. We all know TER s less responsive than it was. We also know that proving to TER, and other 3rd parties, what the truth of a session might be can be problematic but even recently some providers have reported having fake reviews removed.
If you're not going to make your case (and if it was a fake review then I don't think there is any information you have that might be consider privileged/private) just move on. You have 3 reviews that are 7s (and I think one 6 in performance) the majority are 9s and 10s (actually something of a flag for many here). Those 3 lower reviews are certainly what one might expect statistically given different preferences and desires by different people.
It appears that TER administrators agreed with Ivy, because the review by “Thatguysteven” has been removed. I don’t think the issue was the “7” score Thatguysteven gave, but the questionable review of Ivy was verbatim repeats of Thatguysteven‘s two most recent reviews - what should be a clear and objective indication of something suspect.
Well it's good if a fake review was removed regardless of the score.
That said, the OP raised the issue about scores and it being fake. Did she just rush to post after telling TER and then not being happy it was still there 15 minutes later? Would she have reported the issue if the review as 10/10 or 9/10 or 10/9? I don't know but I'll stand with Curly on the point that if a provider (or mongers too) wants to make a public gripe about a review on the boards she should provide some of the basic details -- reviewer claimed I do shit I don't and even say I don't in my ads and web site; claimed we met in city A but I was touring in City B on the other side of the country and have ads and reviews that show that was the case; I've never exchanged any information for said person and TER has had 3 weeks to get a response from said person showing some appointment was actually scheduled. You can argue that TER could be better at approving reviews but then we also hear from reviewers complaining about delays in approvals leading to cases where the review cannot be published since the URL is no longer valid. So I would guess that if TER is getting things close to right (perhaps a questionable claim) then we should expect that some providers will see fake reviews up longer than they like and some mongers will see delays in publishing reviews and even some reviews that just miss the boat and stay unapproved. What's the old saying about having found a good compromise? Must have been a good one as everyone is pissed off.
The problem with options not available on her menu is a lot of providers are very YMMV. We all know providers will offer something not on the menu to select clients only, but then she should tell the clients not to put it in the review. This has happened to me several times before. I had to rewrite my reviews because providers asked me to remove them.
