I couldn't agree more...I've actually stopped all hobbying until things have settled down in the district; I don't care which agency or independant...not sure what happened...but seems like we were all having way too much fun.and the party suddenly ended...at elast for some of us.
My work takes me out of the country a fair bit...and I've been enjoying the freedoms of Canada and Europe.
at least be thoughtful enough to be purging their client's personal information and any old emails/text messages. (maybe a phone number and 'verified / unverified' status indicator would suffice? if the email looks like it's work related, they should delete it and any related conversation too. )
after reading a 3rd or 4th article and several updates from the police website itself specifically mentioning Desirable Companions, it's getting waaaaaaaaay too close for comfort.
Announcing anything here by them would only be used by LE to incriminate them so I understand that (though they did post some 'assuring' stuff that doesn't make sense, like counter surveilance).
Lets hope they are at least somewhat prepared in case police gather enough information to make this event into a bigger event...

As you know that these are the risks involved in hobbying. You dont think that LE can get phone records, hack into websites and get weak fools to sing? Look, if you are not comfortable hobbying these days then stay home and watch porn. I have seen a bunch of threads from providers that they are cancelling their NOVA/DC/Balt trips because of the heat going on right now. Very sad but I do think that it is completely based on exaggerated info.
One provider gets busted and the levy breaks. Jeez, get a grip people. I think that the NOVA/DC/Balt area is suffering from a severe case of paranoia.
