I had no idea...I was sort of waiting to see how things turn out with the other site situation, before I join.

I really want to join but in light of everything recently, I don't want to use my credit card.  If we could mail off a MO for 6 months -1yr membership that would be great!  Sign me up then!

Paige and others --first the new chat board is free. Second if you write to the TER folks at [email protected] or [email protected], I'm sure they can come up with a way for you to register without using your credit card. Wonderful new technologies like wire transfers, paypal and money orders work amazing wonders for helping you join.
Meanwhile, look forward to seeing you in the chat room.

Also: PLEASE look around at the other chat rooms. The LA one is the one that is usually up and running and ANYONE is welcome there. We had about a dozen people in the DC chat's first night and I expect we'll have many more --but if you don't find anyone there, go to the other rooms and say hi. Think of the LA chat as the national one as it may take us a while to get DC up and running.

And one more thing: It is NOT meant to replace TBD. Many of us (including myself) are LONG-time TBD folks. It is another place to go. Also, it is a free chat area and a great way to get to know people.

I did not know the chat was free, Thank-you so much for the helpful info.  I always thought TER was not provider friendly.  The boards here and now that chat, this is great!  You have made me feel welcome!
