I've been a "lurker" for over a year.My work computer is 'keystroke-enabled', if u catch my drift.I appreciate all the work you've done.

...because I think I'm so damn funny, so that's where some of the number are coming from.

I'm not sure I'd totally trust the 'reads' numbers - heck I have seen ads waiting for approval that had 20 or more reads - and there isn't anybody but me able to look at them - and I hadn't yet.....

Although, I will say that I believe there are a TON of lurkers out there....  and I'd love to see them all start posting (although if I think too much about that, my workload will go up quite a bit... gulp)

Actually, I wonder how many are lurkers and how many are just sort of living vicariously through the exploits of others.

if you do a search back awhile, some old posts will have 2, 3 or 4k reads! I have no idea why, just something crazy I noticed on Porn Star board and all the local boards recently.

Well Jeop I donno about anyone else but my posting reduction comes in the form of now being moderated... I honestly don't understand it... no warning no hey you need to read this or that... just bam I was one day moderated because ???? so for me it just isn't worth posting in most discussions as my post shows up a day later in some cases and the by that time the discussion is over...


I think you know I like to chat and give input on interesting discussions... but now it just doesn't make sense to get involoved...

I don't know why.  I don't know if the mods just don't see my username often enough, or if for some reason my posts are considered 'iffy.'

That's kind of why I've started posting less.  By the time my posts show up, people have moved on and aren't active in those threads anymore.

Oh MY.  Spouting the First Amendment in TER.  Perish the thought of jeepers being MODERATED.  I'm sure the ladies wouldn't want it in session; would you ladies?  Up to the challenge, RCP?  HAHAHA  Yeah, I know.  Back to my DUNGEON...

That post count sometimes doesn't make sense like sometimes IF I post something then 10mins later its up to like 20-30 some views which is crazy. I honestly don't think THAT many people view the DC board.

Also Lately, I haven't been around due to setting up my new wireless connection (i'm havin too much fun doin too much stuff everywhere throughout the house 'cept in the designated computer area) + TER has gotten real anal (no pun intended) about the "rules" and I for one hate rules.

You just started posting 9 days ago (unless you've been posting under an alias or another name)....  Mod not's a miracle worker or a mind reader - gotta give him/her a little more to work with....

dp, I joined a GOOD while ago and some say I SHOULD be moderated....  Cum to think of it, that's my problem.  Not enough moderation and too much EXCESS.

You misunderstand.  I'm not complaining, just commenting  I know the mods are busy, which is why I mentioned that they hadn't seen my username often enough.  By the way, how do you tell how many posts I've got?  I don't see that showing up anywhere..

I also can't edit my posts, which others seem able to do.  Does that have something to do with being moderated?

Sorry, I'm one of the ones running the numbers up I guess. Hobby sporadically and only post when I can add something specific. Haven't seen very many of the high profile ladies, mostly agencies and an AMP or two. Hate to post reviews because the first one I tried took me two weeks or so to get up (was all excited about doing one at first). Agree with the other posters about being moderated; most of the discussion is over by the time my post makes it online.

By the way, thanks for your contributions here. Enjoy your level-headed view of things.

I just did a search for your name "someguynamedp" using the "find message" option in the bottom left corner, which is a very handy tool to look for posts by people, or for posts about providers or topics!

when you put up a post, you can edit it for the first 12 or 24 hours (I can't remember which) and then it's locked for good.

If it's a real problem you can PM the mod and he/she can fix it for you.
