This isn't on the PS board for a reason... While this lite rant is inspired by a local ad, it is also here because there are some VERY common themes at work here.

I think we could all agree that someone like Racquel Darrian (Marilyn Chanbers, Peter North, etc.) is a porn STAR.  But really folks, does being on a cheezy video/TV show and jumping to internet porn have anything to do with being a porn STAR? I think not. Porn actor/actress, maybe. IMO it stretches the bounds of credulity to call it acting, but I can let that one slide.

The nice thing about a porn actress is that there is usually enough photo/video evidence to know what you're getting yourself into from an appearance perspective. However, you cannot assume that what you see on tape/internet will translate into a similar experience when the doors close at the local Motel 6.

As for PSE... Many porn actresses simply do not even provide a credible PSE - even if we take away the usual services that people tend to associate with PSE. I have had some amazing PSE sessions with ladies that were not associated with porn, both civvie and P4P. PSE is what it says, an experience. PS does NOT equal PSE, IMHO. Having seen the video at the well known internet porn site, I can truly say I've had more realistic experiences here in DC, and I'm going to bet the hourly rate on the internet porn site is a lot more than the rate here.

I know that ALL the ladies out there are high class and can go anywhere to any function one might EVER encounter in the DC area. Please!

If you want to advertise yourself as being classy, intelligent and ready to go to any social function... Please get someone to review your ad for content and other grammatical niceties. A typo here and there is one thing, but there are some pretty egregious ads out there. In this case, using "descide" in the context of "describe". Even my fat fingers can't muck things up that badly.

Finally, I am the last one to EVER say a lady can't set her price point to anything she thinks she's worth. But to come to DC at twice the going rate, with no reviews, and from an agency/screener that shows a limited number of ladies (3) and reviews (6 total) seems silly. Especially when you consider the services offered (and that rjai is one of the reviewers - double whammy!!! LOL). DC is home to some VERY high quality ladies. It truly stretches ones imagination and pocketbook. If the phone isn't ringing, thats me. Of course, PT Barnum was VERY VERY right (otherwise Capitol Hill would be deserted).

Porn star is doing her naughty things on screen and to most with major adult companies. Some equate true PSE with doing things they see in a porn video totally raw which most real porn stars do in their video.  For some PSE is abot this high energy experience that where everything is covered except maybe oral and might not even include "trip to the islands",  *sighs* in the end yeah lol what PSE is will vary in response just like if you ask some what GFE means to them.

If you're talking about Bethany Benz, I totally agree. Saw her in Chicago last year when her going rate was $$$ and now she's advertising for double that. Just because she was on some tv show that 3% of people in this country watch, and a couple sites picked her up to do one or two shoots doesn't really make a PS. I'd be surprised if anyone would pay that much for an amateur - Even at the previous rate she wasn't worth it.

In most instances a Porn Star is simply someone who has a published film/video credit to their name.  Though in truth that is often a lie or exaggeration.  Some "stars" intend or claim they are going to get into the biz, but you get the idea...

As for PSE... these days it tends, and I say tends, to mean Greek.  If a girl has a fee for GFE and then a separate fee ($50-100 more) for PSE then it usually means this.  However, obviously there are exceptions.  I have seen it mean that PSE equals MSOG where a GFE with that lady would be one and done.  

Personally I have never had a provider offer a PSE as something that would indicate an actual "raw" (read - all uncovered) Porn experience. I would not be hoping for that either were I you.
