Your header mentions Phoenix but the body of the email does not. But in any event as to Phoenix area I would recommend Scottsdale. Great hotels and a wonderful "Old Town Downtown" to hang in not to mention wonderful restaurants. For things to see and do: Talisman West (Frank Llyod Wright's desert home/ campus), Phoenix Botanical gardens, Phoenix Art museum

Everything in Phoenix is so darned spread out - no "core". But all relatively easy to get to assuming you have a car. So all in all I always stay in Scottsdale

Hey TER friends I will be doing tour Mid May and June to the following cities and was hoping to get some info on what areas to stay. I would really appreciate the help.

Minnesota
Maryland
Philadelphia
Iowa
 Boston

Thank you kindly in advance

Especially for great restaurants, shopping, art, people watching, and some cool hotels and some museums. And yeah, as you said this place is sprawled out but that's sort of central.

There are a ton of hotels in Bloomington, which is not only near the airport, but also near Mall of America, which you of course will want to check out while you're here.  You could also stay in downtown Minneapolis, there's a light rail service that runs through the airport, downtown, and Mall of America.

Thank you all so much for your help !
