What are some of the best places to stay in OC?? also toy shops, spas, lounges ,restaurants etc .. Headed there next week and looking for some fun stuff to do while I'm in town

Orange County airport. All the major upscale business hotels have properties near the airport.  

You’re also a short Uber ride to South Coast Plaza, considered one of the best shopping centers in the USA. Many restaurants also located near the mall. Good luck!

Pelican Hill and Islands Hotel are the best places to stay.
Both are very upscale.  
If you are looking for something a little less expensive the Airport Hilton is a decent place to stay.
If you are fond of Marriott properties the Marriott Courtyard is a great value.

Have you been to Laguna Beach? There is the Montage which is in a very nice location and I believe they have a spa available. There are plenty places to eat and lots of lounges around that area. There is also a larger spa called Glen Ivy but it's about a 40 to an hour drive up north. Enjoy your stay!
