I plan to retire by the end of the year and have only ever worked in Dallas and DC. What are some neat places to tour that are good as well? I want to have some new experiences and see new places before I put the hobby life behind me!

But since you haven't been to the West , why not check out San Francisco or San Diego? A bit more laid back than LA and lots to do as well!
