I've never been and will only be there for 2 short days. I know I want to do the walk of fame, lol but what else is there to do in that area???

Thanks
Xoxo,
Marie

,,, it takes you through some of the most amazing parts of the city, from Pacific Palisades past Sly Stallones place right through UCLA and Beverly Hills and the Sunset Strip and on into Hollywood where you make a left turn on La Brea to Hollywood Blvd. make a right turn and all of a sudden you are at the Chinese Theater and the Hollywood and Highland Center and I will bet you dinner at Spago's you WILL see someone you recognize from movies or TV or music on your journey.

Avoid the 405 freeway if you can.

(some of the old timers might recognize a route of my old burger runs from back in the day)

Cheers!!

I'd prefer to stay in the Hollywood area and won't have a car. When I come back for a week or more I'll get a car and explore other areas.

... there's so much delicious food in LA, it's astounding.

Really amazing healthy/vegan restaurants, if you're into clean eating. Elf Cafe in Echo Park is great, so is Gratitude Cafe (there's a couple of locations in LA). I think the star of the foodie show (alongside tacos & food from Guisados) is LA's Asian diasporic options. The best Japanese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Thai, Korean, etc. food I've had outside its respective countries. A yelp search will help find what you're looking for. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it.

Enjoy your stay!

You wouldn't believe how much change I found there on the sidewalk.

Made out like a bandit, I did

They were talking about the Walk of "fame" not the Walk of "shame" which you are much more likely to be acquainted with. lol

There was ( probably still is ) a fun steakhouse on Sunset Blvd near The Andaz & Standard. Pretty lively & fun place that had its own reality show a few years back.
