Anyone who has driven thru that beautiful desert resort town has seen the streets and boulevards named after the pioneers of television and other celebrities -— Dinah Shore Drive, Frank Sinatra Drive, Gene Autry Trail & others.
For W Hollywood, I’m thinking …
Alondra Blvd (oh wait, her name is already taken in south LA county) Ednita Drive (a non-stop thru street, no red lights or stop signs, just a yield sign) Red Ivy Place (quiet street, impressive in length but difficult to get anywhere on) Candi Cox Court (most travel there to take scenic pictures from various angles) Veronika Lane (high toll at booth to enter) Brandy Scott Trail (well-traveled but will still get you to your destination) Carmen Cruz Way (diverse scenery, many film studios have worked there) Arabic Miriam Street (it’s a dead end)
Only challenge I see the cost of constantly changing the street signs--- too many name changes. Hey, maybe that in itself would be a unique distinction!
Anyone have any ideas on how we can publicize W Hollywood’s famed reputation the way Rancho Mirage has?
When driving in LA, do you see the digital signs that usually say "30 minutes to downtown", "Report Drunk Drivers", "Wreck at X exit, expect delays". Those are signs that update on the fly...
As an Example...I'd start with the street names you mentioned and maybe add a few:
1. Papi Place - This needs to be somewhere in East Hollywood. 2. Rush Street - also in east hollywood 3. Avenue of the Stars: India Fox's current street. 4. Scammers Circle: Whereever Tiffany Hilton is staying...
