I think that most mainstream US especially media still afraid of Middle West America who happen to be the majority of the "REAL" america, so they afraid of telling the truth. Those people think that most transexual woman are those who always show up on HBO documentary, which is a husband who has wife and kids decided to be a woman and force himself to look like a woman and still date another woman. The media doesn't want to show the real transexual woman who are beautiful and young.

In america's TV/ Show, Transexual still consider an entertaintment, most of them who are quite well known on TV/ Movie ussually take a role as a hooker, the only Transexual Woman I have seen who I consider successful is Janet Mock, I watched her interview on MSNBC and didn't notice she was transexual until the host mentioned it. I ussually can tell, but not her, she is working for People magazine as a writer!
