My question is....Are we going back to that?
Also, if we let gays/lesbians serve openly......Would we (tax payers) have to give benefits (health care, shopping) to their lovers? Then what about heterosexuals with live-in boyfriends/girlfriends?

Only eight Republicans voted for the repeal. LGBT's need to remember that in 2012. If you vote Republican you will never get gay marriage approved.

You mean, as opposed to the Teapublicans, who will spend our money while continuing to run up the balance on the credit card and cutting off vital programs (Medicare, Social Security) whose contribution to the debt is microscopic compared to money-suckers like the military, all in the vain hope of staving off the pain for just a little while longer? All that's doing is putting things off and making things worse for future generations, which isn't any better (and, in many ways, is a whole lot worse). Is that what YOU want? I was 95B as well... I don't think sexuality should matter at all in the service.
