Also, if we let gays/lesbians serve openly......Would we (tax payers) have to give benefits (health care, shopping) to their lovers? Then what about heterosexuals with live-in boyfriends/girlfriends? I spent 20 years in the Army....I didn't enjoy a stiff cock until I retired. I believe the system is where it needs to be......That's coming from the view of the foxhole.

Joining the military and getting married. And now people are crawling over broken glass to do both. I suspect somebody is applying reverse psychology here and sitting back and watching the lemmings. The only people to benefit from this are divorce lawyers rainmaking and those people more than happy to let someone die for them in the next war for oil.

You mean, as opposed to the Teapublicans, who will spend our money while continuing to run up the balance on the credit card and cutting off vital programs (Medicare, Social Security) whose contribution to the debt is microscopic compared to money-suckers like the military, all in the vain hope of staving off the pain for just a little while longer? All that's doing is putting things off and making things worse for future generations, which isn't any better (and, in many ways, is a whole lot worse). Is that what YOU want? it only makes my heart go hard and my cock go soft when I read how some of you really feel about EQUAL rights for the GLTB community...well I served proudly in the Army as a MP(95-B), personally guarded Colin Powell and did my 3 years with a honorable discharge and the Army begging me to stay and go through OCS(Officer's Candidate School), but I guess I took what the old motto was to heart..."Be ALL you can be"...so I did...look at me now...haha...dfk, Rachel
I was 95B as well... I don't think sexuality should matter at all in the service.
