Dear Friends,
Just within the last 15 to 20 minutes i received an email in my regular inbox, that gave me a shock for a moment, supposedly from the EROS guide admin, stating that they were doing a review and that i was required to provide my age verification within the next 2 days, or that my account and all associated ads would be terminated/permanently suspended. This seemed rather odd, as i have regularly provided both passport and license ID verification to them every year.
Using my mobile phone, i then found it somewhat even more odd that when i clicked on the link provided, it took me to a link that not only had fields for MM/DD/YYYY age entry, but then required entering of a valid credit or debit card in the related account name. It was all done extremely well. Just about perfect in fact, including the copyrighted EROS in small print at the bottom of the page.
I immediately backed out of that screen and examined the email more closely. It appears to have all the valid logos and Markers of a legitimate EROS correspondence, as does the age and credit card entry page/link. HOWEVER -
I looked at the email originator and it came from:
[email protected], which does not jive with any prior correspondence i am familiar with for them. The mail itself was perfectly written - and as a *perfect* speller with very high English skills, i can pick out any scam mail from a mile away with both eyes closed, due to poor grammar or structure or improper usage and context that many will contain. But - This was Perfect. So..... on my desktop computer i also ran the embedded link thru my antivirus programs and it was *Immediately* Blocked as well for a Trojan virus threat.
This is what the email (below) looked like, complete with the familiar Black and gold EROS rectangle box logo near the top.

TAKE NOTE - If you are a valid EROS Advertiser, and this was *Legit*, we would have *ALSO* received a notification in our own *logged in* account page, in the messages section that they use to notify us of any issues or problems with our ads, as well as an official email sent to us.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS EMAIL. It is bogus and dangerous. Not only does the link contain serious malware, but they will surely empty whatever credit card or bank account you provide in the link embedded in the email.
Be safe, be smart, double and triple check everything that comes your way. Wishing everyone the very best during these difficult times, and people like this that prey on some of the most hardworking and often vulnerable women in the world are absolutely nothing but the lowest form of common thief, liar, lowlife, and animal scum that exists in the world.
