The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Two people were killed in a predawn head-on collision that shut down a major south Cobb County thoroughfare during the early part of Wednesday’s morning commute.

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Austell Road north of Sweetwater Lane in Austell.

This person killed an innocent man by commiting a horrifyingly irresponsible and reckless act.

Resting in peace does not seem justified or deserved here.

Why RIP? Because she was a person who made a bad decision.... It amazes me the level to which we will entertain each other with platitudes and niceties but act like children when someone makes a wrong choice. Had she merely 'eluded' police everyone would still be jerking off to her(which by the way im certain her deceased felony status certainly won't stop you). Yes RIP to both families. I for one am sorry for all the losses involved and wish they could have been avoided.

Au contraire. Holding this person accountable and not offering "niceties and platitudes" simply because an evil person died as a result of their evil act is in fact very "adult."  Indeed, I think the RIH comment that was posted is entirely appropriate and deserved.

This person's actions were reprehensible, homicidal, and unforgivable IMO.  Does your view of "adult" behavior allow you to wish upon the deceased Boston bomber the platitude and nicety that he rest in peace?  I would hope not. And btw, simply because you may have j/o'd to "her" doesn't mean that I have or will.  "She" was very dude like. And as a killer, not the least bit atttactive as a person.

One more point -- the OP directed the "RIP" comment at the criminal decedant, which I believe is grossly misplaced.  You seem to have re-directed it to the families of both the perp and the victim.  I am sorry for both sides loss.  But RIP to the killer?  That doesn't work for me.

Apples and  very different oranges.

Boston Marathon is and will always be a tragedy. They do not deserve a moments respite though the media might portray the younger brother as being led into this life by the older. Certainly RIH to the both of them swift justice should be brought.

The vehicular homicide incident was an accident. Here's why. Person X goes out. Gets pulled over. For unknown reason runs away and creates a traffic accident resulting in loss of life. Even at that moment someone at the scene does not say hmmm looks like we have a vehicular manslaughter case here.... They go back over all the preceding factors. That's a very big difference then spitting on a persons grave who set out to injure maim or willfully hurt someone with a motor vehicle.

Keep in mind im not just saying this because I was a fan. I am saying this because these are questions lawyers will ask even in these cases. Why did she run? Did she have drugs in the car? All those things are huge factors...
