carry a false sense of entitlement and are very unappreciative.

With that being said, this post is somewhat of a bitch session on my part.  The person will remain nameless, as that really is not important.  

I think the next time I receive a PM from someone asking me for some advice on who to go see, I will tell them I can not help them.  I probably get two or three of these a week and always try to lend my opinion.  Well recently, I received a request and about 20 emails later, I guess this person decided to take the plunge.  

Tonight, I open up my TER email to see a PM from this person.  Nowhere do I see the words "Thank You" or "I appreciate your help" .....but it was not what I expected..etc etc....."

Instead, this person bitches and bitches and bitches from his drive into her neighborhood, to the apartment building, to her decor, even blaming the lower rate on the fact that she has to offer that to get clients to come to her neigborhood.  Then complains about her looks stating she looked like a man with boobs and on and on and on.....

"Waaa Waaa Waaa"

I once knew someone who would go to a resturant, order dinner, eat about 75% of it, then start bitching about the quality of the food and demand a refund.  I had another  acquaintance in life who would take his birthday and Christmas presents back to the store where others bought them demanding that he lost the receipt and would not accept a store credit and wanted cash.

WHY?  Because of this false sense of entitlement feeling everyone in this world owe them something and saying thank you or expressing some appreciation is not necessary because they deserve it.

This portion of TER is not a paid service or a membership benefit.  Its donated time by the people who volunteer to help others enjoy the hobby and have fun.

Ok I feel better.

Hey! I am one of the people that appreciate your donation of your time. And yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Just wanted to add my thanks to all you do. You've been most helpful to me. Don't let the few that bitch ruin it for those of us that appreciate you. We just need to say it more often before you feel the need to vent!!!

I agree with the others, some of us have been on here quite a while and will attest to the fact that you have taken the board to the next level with your insight, humor and most of all your incredible detective work. I just wish there was one of you for each region and sincerely hope that the lads in Southern California appreciate what a filter you have become to point out frauds and questionables. And hey, who else amongst us can claim a puple heart for their "research".

dog and I appreciate everything you do for us! I hate when someone asks for a recommendation and all they do is bitch and moan afterwards. That's why I stopped recommending anything at all years ago! People ask me about movies I have seen, books I have read and so on and I tell them try it for yourself and you be the judge. This normally pisses them off but it prevents a nasty, rude, offending remark from me later.

Not everyone is as generous as you in  volunteering personal  time updating and giving information here in TER.
