This past week I was at the local TS friendly bar in Boston and connected with a lady that I'd met in the past...she talked about how nice I was to her when last we met and she said she wanted to see me again, etc, etc.  When she saw me she walked away from a couple of other guys she was with and made the shift to come talk to me.

Long and short of it, we leave to go to her place...she is telling me where to go and said that she needed to stop to see a friend...I asked her what for and she said you don't want to know...so of course, I insist on knowing...and she was right - I didn't want to know...she was buying drugs.  I told her that I wasn't comfortable with that, etc.  We were in the Chinatown area of Boston which is an area where guys alone in a car at night are often seen as johns and I didn't need the headache...she said she just needed to run inside to the apartment and see her friend...again, I said I wasn't comfortable but she continued, so I stopped.

I'm parked on the side of the street in a "notorious" area and a patrol cruiser pulls up behind me.  I tell myself to count to 30 and if she isn't back in that time, I'm going to leave.  The count hit 30 and I left.  In hindsight, the cop probably had nothing to do with me being there but I had had a few drinks, I'm in the wrong area late at night and I just kind of lost my cool...Don't want to explain on the homefront what I was doing in Chinatown at midnight if I did get questioned, etc.

As I've reflected on the scene I have a few thoughts:

1.  I feel badly for leaving her there - but she was seeing a "friend" and probably could manage to get out of there fine - but I still feel badly - she may have given up other opportunities to spend some time with me.

2.  Obviously, she won't want to see me again, which sucks b/c she is attractive and provides great service and told me that she enjoyed me so much that night was going to be extra special...can only imagine.

3.  I don't know what I'll say/do if I go back to that bar - I feel like a total dick and won't be able to make eye contact and even worse, I would hate to have conflict there - I'm thinking I'll just avoid the place for quite some time...which stinks, b/c there are no other similar bars in the area (at least that I know of).

So...what do you all think?  I should have probably just said no that I wouldn't stop there and if she wanted to "date" me that night she'd have to do that some other time...but I didn't...

By taking you to pick up her drugs and not telling you she did three things.
1.If you had been stopped you could have had your car confiscated.
2. You might of ended up in jail. You still would of had a date, just not with her!!
3. Someone besides the police might have figured out why she was going to that palce and robbed you.
In short you are not a Dick for leaving her, your a Dick for not telling her to blow it out her ass. If she is a hard drug user she will see you again because she needs the $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Just tell her the truth.  If she can't see your point, she's probably not someone you'd want to spend time with.  Consider yourself lucky.  Suppose she was in your car with drugs and you were pulled over.

Simply tell her a cop pulled up behind you and asked what you were doing there and your reply was you had just dropped a friend off and where making sure she got in OK. He then told you to move along. The drug thing is something you have to evaluate on your own but my 2$ is people are not the same when drugs become involved save yourself some pain and suffering and stay away. Best of luck

I agree with the others, it could have been a lot worse.  If she does not understand the truth, she is not worth it.  Too bad the night went that way, sounds like you were headed toward a great time?

Don't feel bad about approaching her. Seems to me like you are a genuinely nice person and it would be her loss!

You are assuming that she wasn't just playing you for a chump to get a ride there.  Perhaps she had every intention of just leaving you there waiting and not coming back outside.  In the final analysis you should not have played pony express for her though if the situation made you uncomfortable.

You are assuming she was coming back, and that a stoned out provider will even remember.  these hotties do strange things to us
