Just wondering if anyone else likes their TS to have a deep voice.  I think it's sexy and would like to find one like that.  Any suggestions?

To me, "Girlish" would seem to connote a behavior, more or less, don't ya think ? After all, how many of us think Lucielle Ball had a high, feminine, or sexy, voice ? And how many of us have come across women who are "girlish, but because of nature that's how their vocals came out sounding, or they have smoked like steel foundries for years and end up sounding like Larry King ?

To answer your question, I prefer my girls to have sexy, not necessarily high, feminine voices. It's funny, but you remind me of a moment that occurred with the one escort experience I haven't written on yet. As feminine and sexy as this woman was, part of the experience was kinda ruined for me when she cleared her throat at one point when we casually talking and warming up to the "moment".She sounded like Tom Brokaw for Christ's sake. ...Give me Sapphire's lovely feminine voice over anything deep all the time. :)

What's with the sobriquet ?

I think most of us understand that in this case girlish means feminine-sounding, as opposed to masculine-sounding.  We needn't split hairs over it.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's a sobriquet?

I asked the same question years ago when I first came across it in a forum, given my pocket thesaurus at the time didn't have it. A "sobriquet" is just a $94.00 supplant for ( I believe you're the second or third person from THIS site to ask me that, by the way) a :

Handle
Tag
Anonym
Nickname
Moniker
pseudonym(sp?)
et all ...

I was just curious about your anonym, "Luvmhairy". Have you got this _Cousin It_ fetish with women who also happen to sound like Lurch ?

Hey, to each his own. :)

It is never too late to learn a new word, or refresh the meaning of an old one. You know what they say -- Use it or lose it, and I'm not talking about your sex drive here, Bud. Both Yahoo and Excite for example offer their own "Words of the Day" for your personal pages on each respective site, which I utilize, and you can also have a site such as Merriam-Webster email you a daily "Word of the Day" like I do. They provide the definition, pronounciation, and put it in context also. Today's words are:

Tome

Divisive

Nefarious

Here's the Merriam-Webster site link. Set it up to have them email you a new word each day. :)

... "Sobriquet" was a word recently picked by one of these sites if my memory serves me correctly. :)
