Be willing to honor your agreements with clients and if for any reason, you doubth wheter you can honor an agreement , don`t make it in the first place, if a client is looking for a 9 inch top and you are a 6 inch bottom don`t agree to do the gig, pretending over the phone you are going to be able to fit the bill.

Develop a tough skin. As with any business, there will be custumer satisfaction situations that can not be resolved, on ocasion some mean things will be said to you, stay profesional and honest , don`t strike back with the same verval abuse and don`t take a bad situation personally.
be able to put work in a box at the end of the day and walk away from it, on the other hand don`t let a great call go to your head, you are there to offer a service , not to fall in love, stay profesional at all times.
Know when to quit, look when to quit look beyond this business and towards goals and growth needs.
As this is a business about taking care of the needs of others,be aware of your own needs for security and personal growth, and move into other areas when the time is right for you.

Go on a real date, take a trip,read a book ,help
some one in deep need.
when you get back you will enjoy and do a better job(they will notice it and enjoy it too)
and always remember that what you are offering it`s a very comfortable convenience for people who apreciate time...( the nice ones)
let the others go...some where else....(the nut cases)....they know where to go......

What a great world it would be if the points you make in your first paragraph were the rule and not the exception.  And if the things you mention in the balance of your comments were followed, I suspect that which you mention in your first paragraph, would become second nature to those individuals in the personal service business.

Conversely, it is not unreasonable for a personal service provider to expect that clients would, at a Minimum:

Be respectful and remember that we arranging for time with another living, breathing human being who has feelings the same as us, and behave accordingly;  Read the individuals ad prior to calling and when scheduling an appointment remember, first impressions go both ways;  Arrive freshly showered and fully prepared for whatever activities one is anticipating;  Have the agreed upon donation in an unsealed envelope and as with any appointment, be on time or call ahead if running late or as soon as possible if one must cancel.  One would not fail to cancel an appointment with an attorney, because if you do, you're going to get billed for the time regardless if you use it or not.  The fact that an escort cannot bill you is no reason to assume that their time is any less valuable then your own.

We are all human beings.  A persons character or station in life cannot and should not be determined or defined by one's profession, nor can the character or station in life of an individual be determined or defined by the services one seeks from a personal service provider. Both provider and client are deserving of the respect and consideration one would give any individual in both communications and behavior.  Treat others as you would expect to be treated, respectfulness of others usually results in mutual respect.

I really hope all the guys read that paragraph. above.
Because LOTS of them specially when we travel, never show up and there is a few smart ones that give a courtesy call to cancel...but that is just at the time they supposed to be there....That really sucks because in the mean time I couldn't see anyone else....In LA and some other states I did charge the guys that stood me up if they wanted to see me again, one of them was in LA and he did stood me up 4 times just to go see someone else...but  he wanted to see me, so he paid me 800.00 (back when my donation was 200.00) plus he gave me several presents and a marvelous Italian doll that cost him a lots of money among the presents...but that is only if you have regulars that want to see you again...some of them didn't want to pay me for the time they stood me up, hoping I will see them next time till they realized that I wont see them is when they paid me.
And there is many others that tough I will see them because I wont even remenber what they did, but I got them all in my phone and if a new guy don't show up I simply wont see him ever again no matter how much he offer.
They think we are a piece of meet they can use...wrong we are humans too and we have feelings hate feelings when they do that hahaha.
