This week on EROS-by-the-Numbers........

This week we saw the provider numbers drop from 948 girls last week to just 912 this week (the lowest number since July 31).  Don't know if this is normal, but as I continue the statistics through the year, we'll see.

The Northeast, with its massive population centers, holds on to the lead with 282 providers distributed along 5 cities.  Keep in mind, everything is so close to each other, that some girls have ads in two cities.

The Southeast saw a modest decrease in numbers, but I wonder if it will improve once winter begins.

Chicago continues to lead the Midwest with 52 girls.

Not a lot of change in the rest of the country.  However, I've always been a bit confused as to why the Northwest does not have more providers.  It's strange.  With its fairly close, large population centers, it seems to be an ideal location.  Yet, a mere 19 providers occupy the 3-city area of Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland.

Sure wish the columns would stay straight!

Something else I've been interested in--the holidays/events.  I'm wondering how much influence the holidays and events in the U.S. might have on a provider's choice of cities.  I think it'll be interesting to see the provider migration patterns this fall.

Thanks, Houndog!  Nice to hear the complements--I am simply purrrrrrring! :)

Once I constructed the Excel formulas, it's pretty easy.  It would be a whole lot easier if I could just copy and paste my columns without these dadgum text boxes messing them up.

Here's to many more weeks of statistics!

Thanks once again for your efforts on this.  :)

It is an interesting survey.  I wonder as time goes by if we will be able to tie this to economic ups and downs, or any kind of cyclic or seasonal phenomenon.

It would also be interesting to know how t-girl numbers relate to GG's.  Several years ago I did a non-scientific survey of a few cities on CL and found TS's seemed to be about 1-3% of the W4M ads.  But I never checked it against Eros.

Hugs,
TS Jamie :-)

You're the best, Jamie!  Yeah, I've been kinda wondering about the exact numbers of GG-to-TS.  I agree, it would be a landslide.
