We fly!

Really sorry to hear of your inability to hook up dear.  It's true a "fly in" date can be a more expensive proposition.  But if your budget can handle it, with the right person it can be the date of a lifetime!  And it's probably cheaper than making 5 trips to play with yourself...

I LOVE to do travel dates.  We do it 3 or 4 times a year.  We've always had an absolutely fabulous time.

There are girls who can be relied on.  But those girsl may not be the ones you happen to be attracted to.  So you are faced with a dilema.  Do you see someone who's photos knock your socks off?  Or do you see someone you know will be there when you are?

Whatever you choose you want to be sure you communicate very clearly what each parties expectations and responsibilities are.

Here's how I/we do it.  We request our date makes all travel arrangements and provides an e-ticket and hotel reservation if needed.  We will get ourselves to/from the airport.  Most girls will charge a 2 day rate, plus expenses, for an overnight, due on arrival.  I personally don't hassel with a deposit for an overnighter.  A plane ticket is deposit enough and can be arranged quickly online.

You asked for the cons.  The downside is instead of a dream girl you get your worst nightmare.  You discover the girl in the pics isn't who shows up.  You send travel money in advance and never hear from her again.  She gets there and you simply don't click and what you were hoping would be a great time turns into a 20 hour ordeal.

You could easily drop quite a bit for a night to remember.  So whoever you pick had better be worth it.  Communication can alleviate most negatives.
