I am new to this so please indulge me.  
I don't understand this whole "fake thing". It seems to be huge but I don't understand the purpose. When you get there and it is a totally different person, what do they expect you to do?
How do you goys handle it if it happens to you?

well a lot of people, especially ones that may fall for fake photos (usually new or inexperienced) will do a few things.

1. Just pay and get it over with since they are already there
2. Not pay but then provider threatens to expose them or bother them and the client will just pay some fee to get out of there
3. May just be really unattractive so something, anything is better than nothing.
