Does anyone know where all the ladies who used to hang out at El Gato Negro (now closed) in Chicago are going these days?  I LOVED that place!  Hot ladies who were easy to talk to and hang with and great music.

We miss the place also.  Looking for a replacement and someone suggested La Cueva on 26th St.  Might check it out this weekend.  Once again we had a gentrification war and the bad guys won.

When did it close? I haven't been up there in a while and I know the woman that owned it and worked so hard to try and keep it a safe haven must be heart-broken.
If you want to stay up until 2:00am and swing by Berlin, I am sure a lot of them make their way into there. Problem is the parking, you are hanging in a mostly gay bar and you have to stay up so late before things start happening.....

Yeah, it was a neighborhood "let's close the bad bar down" war that forced them to close. Let me/us know if La Cueva is any good.  I am desperate to find an equal replacement for El Gato.  Thanks.
