When the new version of TER came out I bitched and told them to publish the classic version...I guess my complaint helped and they posted the link to "classic".  Over time, I am ok with the new.  I think they have made some improvements since it came out and it is now more stable, less issues, fewer database errors, hanging up, etc.  My personal opinion is TER gave the site a facelift, moved things around, created drop down menu's, etc but really did not enhance the overall functionality of the site and its features.  Its pretty much the same as before just with a new look (which was quite frustrating for me when the new version was released).

I don't mean to sound flippant, but what we say is not likely to have any effect. TER obviously went to a lot of time and expense to revamp the site, for good or ill, so I doubt that they're going to chuck all that work in the toilet just because a bunch of users (ranging all over the spectrum) don't like it, for whatever reason. In my short time here, I've pretty much gotten the gist that the site revamp isn't popular with a lot of people (don't know if it's a majority or a vocal minority), thus these sorts of informal polls pretty much tell me what I already know. :)

(For the record, again, I have only used the current TER, and I don't see what the big deal is about the classic site. My experience is probably the opposite of others: I've been to the classic TER and found it difficult to get around, as I'm not used to where everything is there. I'm used to the current site, and am comfortable navigating it.)

Most feel frustrated because they really did not make too many improvements or enhancements to the site, just moved stuff around and reorganized it.

When your wife puts your favorite socks in her drawer by mistake, does it frustrate you after you tear apart the bedroom to find them?

Well, thats a pretty silly analogy but accurate.

In the grand scheme MJP it does not matter - just a thought as I was navigating the site and because this is forum started a thread.  Relax.  Does anything hyou do for entertainment really matter to anyone else but you?

I like the new version.  First, it very rarely hangs, which the old version did frequently.  The best feature of the new version is that the phone number search field automatically parses out any extraneous characters from a phone number when you paste it into the field.  It used to be a pain to have to do it manually.
