I used to get decent mileage out of tineye and google image search, but I think google has done something with image search - it used to come up with similar images that were good matches so that I could spot things like, "Aha, you're using Aubrey Kate's photos for your ads! --- Busted!"

IDK, now neither google nor bing seem to be cutting it, and of course tineye is only good for exact matches.

I did search this out, and the internet chatter is mostly along the lines of "Yeah, Google image search went downhill fast this year! But I've not seen any good substitute suggestions.

Thanks

I have found ChatGPT to be superior at just about everything you want more detailed information on.

"I can't tell if this person appears on websites based on this image alone. If you are trying to find out more about someone specific, you might need to provide more context or details. However, if the person is a public figure or influencer, it's possible they could appear on various websites or social media platforms."

Actually, by her behavior as we conversed, I sorted out that she was just another Deposit scammer.

But you're suggestion was spot on and THANKS!  (Gold Star)  It will be interesting to employ in future.

Got a PM suggesting Yandex.  I'd been to that site before, but had been wary as it's characterized as "Russian Google".
But it yields helpful results, e.g. finding a local ad with the pictures scattered  all over the internet as a generic "Sexy Model".

Search algorithms are constantly changing, I've noticed that google doesn't seem as effective also. It is free and as soon as google developed it they possibly sold off the technology. The entities they sold it to probably increased it's accuracy and monetized it at the same time. I also think googles related search engines in general for the US, they've deliberately let the accuracy  go a bit. With all the trouble Mark Zuckerberg got in back in 2018, 5 billion in fines, from harvesting peoples personal data etc., I think other tech companies are chilling out a bit on it.
