OK, here's what I've gleaned from comments on another forum related to HA from those closer to it that I am.  I'm not sure if I can post the site or the content here, so I won't.

Apparently all the flamers on HA and a couple of threads in particular pissed off the site owner and they pulled the plug - which considering the income hit they would take is hard to imagine.

Or they are upgrading the site to new servers - but normally that would be announced I should think.  Unless they just did it to screw with people - which is highly likely.

Also these forums are expensive to operate.  the servers and bandwidth cost a lot of money.  And there isn't the money in TS porn that some people think, and it may be that they just didn't pay their hosting bill.

But forcing me to suffer the DT's of posting withdrawal is unforgivable regardless of the reason...

Jamie pretty much summed it up. I won't go into detail, because the HA flame wars have already spilled over into other, more civil, corners of the web, and I don't want to get involved with it here.

There were good things about that site, I had built up a considerable list of people I was planning on seeing when I go on tour in a couple of weeks, and poof, now I have no way to contact them.

But the bad aspects of it, were probably not worth, to me, the money I would have made from prospective clients, and I didn't make all that much money from referrals to my porn site (probably because I was constantly sharing free xxx photos of myself there). There are other forums to get free wank material, you just have to search them out, is all.

Care to share some of the aforementioned sites with good wank material? I thought hungangels had the best selection of hot pics i have seen

I hope the news is wrong about the Hung Angels been closed for many reasons 1 I enjoyed the site and some of the people on there. 2 I like the post and pics that people posted in. 3 and most of all is that I had the most popular topic/thread going on there called Shemale Cartoons which had the most post and visited page on the forum, I be gutted and I have posted over 900 cartoons and so did many others. I am in the dark like you lot, I hope it's just down for a update or something.

Word initially was that it was closed down "indefinitely". Were I hail from, "indefinitely" does not mean "permanently". We'll see.

Other than Userplane the chat room, another place one can read about it is the site I linked. I believe this site has its finger to the pulse more than any other place.

something doesn't make sense. If there are any flamers as one poster suggest then HA should have no problem banning their asses. As high popular as that site was, they were bound to have hundreds of flamers and trolls that they have to keep working on but that's the price for popularity. But i don't buy the flaming problems, i think there are other internal demons in the working and one can only speculate what has transpire. (FBi probes,intellectual property matters,legal actions,etc.) and i damn sure wouldn't think it was money issue, else someone like Seanchai/Grooby would have bought out the site. just too huge and popular of a site to just fold up for no given reason. Something really big is up with HungAngels.
