Well, coming from a guy who does not like the top/bottom thannng too much and really enjoys a hot oral session, I think you are right on.  One provider in particular said "It would be wrong for me to charge you x" because our sessions are so easy and fun.  So, this girl who happens to be hot hot does give me a lower rate.  Now thats one in a million that have proactively offered that on their own but thought it was a nice thing to do, considering she does not watch the clock and always answers the door looking fantastic and ready to roll.  Clock watcher or not, I'm usually in and out in 30 minutes or so. Its been awhile, wish I had the extra cash to create a mini July 4th extravaganza!

Secondly, I think you may get more guys like me who want what I want but you are going to have to identify the guy who thinks he can squeeze the entire show into 30 minutes, telling you in the session, "I'm almost there, 5 more min baby" and he leaves in 55 minutes and you are pissed.

I did meet 2 guys that were really cool but for the most part, all of the guys I met for short sessions still tried to get "full service" and couldn't "finish" in less than an hour.

Personally I'd rather have one good date per day than 2 rushed sessions...

I hear ya. If it crossed your mind then its still a consideration or wazzzz.  Maybe selectively offer it to guys who you have met and who you know would come see ya more frequently, as you know what to expect and so do they.  If thats not an option, I think I'd take Jazz's input and just stick to the full blown no rush sessions.

Now its all about quality of encounters. If im going to be a long term whore, I don't want to end up hating my work....So it's got to be on my terms or its pointless to meet.

I would think for a lot of guys the urge and a window of opportunity opening up is the biggest reason for calling a provider (usually the case with me).  Not everyone is going to plan in advance.  I'm rarely with a provider for longer than 30 minutes and I would like to think that most seem to think it's a pleasant and easy 30 minutes.  By the way, I love that you're video has The Stooges!

I have said this in reviews and I am pretty sure that I have said this on this board. The most frustrating part of being a customer or "hobbyist" is paying for an hour and heading out the door after 30 minutes.  It is doubley annoying when having paid for the hour, knowing that the provider has a 30 minute rate.  I doubt anyone gets a refund.

I am often a spur of the moment kind of guy.  The urge combined with that window of opportunity is a powerful combination. Once in a while I make an appointment the night before for the next morning, but finding availabilty within the hour is special. I prefer early in the day.

It's a fair question, 30 minutes, but I must agree: in a perfect world, yes to the 30 minute sessions.

Alas, our world is far from perfect.  So many nut-jobs, stalkers, and doh-doh birds.  For myself, if I had a 30 minute session, I can't imagine having it all in such a brief amount of time.  For me, that's just not possible.  But, for oral fun only, I think it is.  Ah, but then there are the whack-o's that want to feel like they're in control for those 30 minutes of their life . . .

Living where I live (Arkansas), I don't have the opportunity for a quickie, so I don't shop at the Five-and-Dime.  My days and nights are spent mostly window shopping, which is fine for my budget

So, I would be looking for longer sessions, maybe even dinner, planned in advance, creating a connection, that kind of thing.

This is where legalization of the hobby would help because one could advertise and screen clients without fear of LE.

I'd say, keep the 30-minute in your back pocket for great guys like the Dog, but I wouldn't be so quick to extend the offer to an unknown.  Seems like it would be high risk with little pay-off.

Some fulfilling sessions can be had in 30 minutes or less, some are to be had by going over 60.  Being in a business in which I have to set a price for a service, I know it can be challenging to be clear on the scope of work is.  Time is a familiar measurement to everyone, but isn't always relevant to the service performed.  I've never had a provider stick to the time limit.  Being transparent about proposed services to be performed and if multiples are allowed seem more relevant than a rigid time schedule.

Interesting thread. I've had some hour dates that ended up being closer to 30 minutes, but that was more me then the provider. For whatever reason, if things happen quickly, and they often do, I've just always assumed she wants me gone. In fact, I think I've offended a few ladies who thought I was  being rude, or just didn't really like them.
Some of the better dates I've had though were when I just relaxed and stuck around for the full hour and just getting a chance to get to know each other better.
I do like the idea of the build a bear approach. I've often wanted to try an over night date. But between the cost, and the fact I am not sure if I really want to spend eight hours with someone I have not met yet, not knowing if we would get along that great. I'd be interested in setting up longer dates, just not 8 hours long.

You could try to price the session ala carte, like ordering from a sushi menu.  The problem is that you are probably risking accusations of upselling.  If the customer changes his mind during the session, how does that effect the price?  Yo would then have to reenter negotiations.  

I think you would be likely to get more penny pinchers who try to extract extra services beyond those for which they paid, just like the half hour "let's make a deal" crowd.

Think of your service as more like a fixed menu.  You offer a range of services all inclusive for a single price.

I don't upsell hon...but for things that are outside the realm of a "normal" session...ie:Golden Showers(GS) or a Hydro-Rape Scene(pressurized enema with different attachments) there is an fee...afterall bathroom games trump bedroom games anyday, besides kink is discussed and agreed upon well before the rendezvous(try to provide a GS on an empty bladder...LOL)...you have most that claim that they are GFE and don't even kiss(let alone dfk), you read posts and reviews that say that the provider's ad and phone conversation stated all inclusive service and when the hobbyist gets there all she will do is a handjob or even try to upsell for oral or anal...if you are VIP email one of my reviewers(or one of my lovers from  the board might chime in)and they will say I deliver as promised...happy 4th, Rachel
