I have a question for you all.I been receiving phone calls from people that go to Criaglist. They said they got my phone number from there. I am not the one posting it.I would like to know why Is someone waisting there time doing it?
I found the post on craigslist. The culprit must have copied the ad earlier today as the pics are your newest and they have the 'eros.com' watermark on them. Notice how the ad says, "no e-mails"? Maybe send an e-mail asking why this was posted can solve your mystery. You must be able to contact craigslist and tell them to remove the ad and ask that they ban the poster's IP. I would guess the poster is a lusting fan with excess time on his or her hands. I noticed a few other tranny ads on craigslist that use 'eros.com' watermarked pics.
NOTICE - If you continue with this posting, you understand and agree that: if craigslist believes that you impersonated someone by posting an ad in their name, or with their contact information, without their explicit consent, you authorize craigslist to release any and all information about you to the victim, and if craigslist's actual damages cannot be reasonably determined in a court of law, you agree that you will pay craigslist liquidated damages of $1,000 for each such violation of our Terms of Use.
This essentially means craigslist will tell you everything they know about the poster. It also means craigslist will sue the poster for $1000 for each fake post.
No offense HF, but what the statement on CL really means is that after you have your lawyer supeona them as part of a lawsuit, they will release the info.
My guess would be that every day thousands of bogus posts and copyright violations occur on CL - and I'd bet a frree date that almost nobody if anyone at all has ever received any compensation.
For starters such a statement has no real legal bearing whatsoever. And like a hooker is going to prevail in court and then be able to exercise a judgement on some loser in another state.
And unless someone is posting photos of minors or some hightly illegal thing they won't ban the ISP. They may ban an e-mail address for serious repeat spam viloations, but that's the extent of it.
BUT if you send them notice, they will remove posts fairly rapidly.
What you have to do is put "911 - Copyright violations" in the subject header and mail to "[email protected]"
Personally I think the best thing that could happen to the business is for CL to either just go away, or for them to take some kind of responsibility and control over the content.
