I was chatting with a TS online and she told me the TS nights at Club 7969 in LA will be ending soon. I heard this rumor a while back, but she says the end is really near this time.

Does anyone have additional info on this?

I remember the rumors about the Queen Mary closing for 3 years and when it finally did, it was sudden and unannounced. That was a sad day for many of us because that club was like a nieghborhood bar with many regulars. It had way more TV women than real shemales but it was fun to be there and dance and watch the drag shows. It was a great little bar and I suppose that Peanuts will leave alot of customers unhappy as well. I hear there is a club that is right across from the Yukon Resturaunt that is having a TS Saturday night. Why is there so few TS clubs in LA but so many in SF and NY?

This rumor comes up every year or so.  Here is the word, directly from the manager of the club

"re the sign you may have seen posted on the side door [next to valet parking lot]:

"there may be a change of ownership, if it goes through the new owners will continue with the current nights. I'll be in contact with you with the latest developments

The MC of the shows has also told me the club is staying open, and was planning shows for next few months when I talked to her last.
