You can like them all you want but you better bet  on NE.

Exactly!!!  You can root for Philly, but don't be stupid, bet on NE.  Is Philly's O better than Indy's??  With or withouot TO!!!  Is Philly's D better than Pittsburg's???  NOT!!  Can Andy game plan better than Bill-O, especially with 2 weeks to prepare.  Philly has got a lot of challenges ahead!!

First of all, this couldn't be more off topic - but since I'm a Philly native (unbiased of course), I'll let it slide.

Is Philly's D better than Pittsburgh's?
- Maybe.  Steelers great against the run but Eagles much better against the pass.  Look at the Iggles since they inserted Trotter in the lineup (but ignore the last 2 games when they played the 2nd unit).  Plus, Eagles play confusing, unpredictable schemes unlike the relatively straightforward Steelers.  Brady is usually mistake-proof, but if anyone can rattle him, its the Eagles.

Is Philly's O better than Indy's?
- No, but is it more creative?  Yes.  Indy showed NOTHING new against the Pats.  Give Belicheck a week to prepare for a vanilla offense and he can solve it.  The Eagles still have the prospect of something different and have the tools to do so - particularly if TO comes back.

That said, I still think the Pats are the favorite and the 6 or 7 pt spread is a good one.  IMHO, the keys to the game are the Eagles D doing something to create a turnover or two and then playing smart on offense.  They do that, and its game on!

I'd take Eagles +7 1/2, but no less. Wonder where it will end up?
Now, if you're talking Phillie TS babes vs. Boston TS babes...I gotta go with Boston even if I'm giving 3 to 1! Which, btw, I would be very happy to do! ;-)

The Patriots, my hometown team, (for those who notice a bit of bias in the following rant)have proven time and time again that they are the BEST.  This year will be no different.

Their coaching staff is by far the best at creating and implementing game plans based on their own and their opponent's strengths and weaknesses.  Their players are a bunch of smart, tough, hardworking leaders who are willing to set their egos aside to win.  They maintain a relentless focus on whatever is immediately in front of them.  They play smart, hard-nosed football.  And they can't be rattled or detered from their plan.

Simply put, they impose their will on whomever they play in the playoffs.  Pittsburgh, Indy(MVP?), St. Louis, Carolina, Oakland(tuck you, crybaby)and soon, a Philly Cheesesteak shall be consumed.
