Hey TER,

I plan on traveling to San Diego, San Fran and Seattle. This will be my first time, and I was wondering If anyone could give me some feedback on the areas, as well as tips and suggestions.

Thanks,
Dakota Moss

San Diego: Hotel Circle is an area with many hotels, most travelers stay in that area.

San Francisco: Depending on how much you want to spend, there are many hotels.  I'd stay closer to Union Square.  I was just at the Hilton and it was reasonable, very nice, no card security for the elevator and had parking close to the hotel.

Good luck.

As dog mentioned Hotel Circle is where a lot of travelers stay. There is always a lot of traffic from tourists/ conventions/ business travelers. Good in that frequent visitors isn't suspicious. Not so good in that it can be targeted by uncle leo. There's a lot of hustle and bustle, so... If you don't mind that, it is convenient.

For a more upscale or quieter experience (while still accessible) I'd try La Jolla or Del Mar.
For quieter but not so upscale, you could do Mira Mesa or Rancho Bernardo.

Depends on the experience you're looking for.
