Hey guys and gals!  I am looking to plan a trip to LA soon and wanted to get some advice on where to stay and where NOT to stay.  I've never been to California and need a little direction. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Kat

I'm assuming you are coming to offer up your services.  If thats a yes, I'd say.....

1.  Staying in downtown LA has no real advantage.  Its more of a business district and many people would not want to come into the city to meet unless they are already there.

2.  If you want to be in Hollywood, a very clean and reasonable hotel is the Ramada Plaza on Santa Monica Blvd.  Its in a good area (very much a gay boy area but close to everything in WEHO), has no security to get up in the elevators, has a parking garage attached, and even a Wells Fargo ATM and Bank next to the lobby.

3.  Universale City may also be a good area. Its actually close to Hollywood but also has more freeways feeding the area, which means many may head your way based on location.  I know the Hilton is there and is common but they require security keys to get upstairs.  Maybe try the Sheraton that is off the 101 Freeway and in Universal City.

4.  Possibly consider a trip to Orange County. Most traveling stay in Costa Mesa but not sure where.

Hi Kat,
Loved your web site...you are a beautiful girl and would be fun to meet you in LA
Lots of options on where to stay...Hollywood, the Valley, or the west side beach i think are three best locations depending on what you are looking for.  Don't stay downtown, or east side, but like every major city, neighborhoods change fast depending on where you're at.  I will look for your postings when you visit for sure!
