I was watching the movie Kinsey the other night (pretty good, but a little disturbing) and the subject of Penis Length came up.  In the movie they measured it from the scrotum to the tip of the penis.  When they say scrotum is the in front of or behind the balls.  I'd always been under the impression that it was measured from the pubic bone (on top) to the tip of the penis.  

There seems to be no concensus on this particular issue.  And depending on how you measure the length could vary greatly.

Any thoughts on this?

I'm reminded of the bar patron who bet his cock was longer than the resident cat's tail.
When he stuck the ruler back between his legs to get his measurement, the bar owner asked what the hell he was doing.

I believe the generally accepted method is to measure along the topside.

Having said that, though, there doesn't seem to be any consistency.

I guess it really doesn't matter which way guys (or gurls) do it as long as you know what method they employed.
