Because of some inaccurate info being spread on some other sites, I wanted to make sure everyone knew that Peanuts is STILL OPEN!!! It is still at the same location, 7969 Santa Monica Blvd. Its there on Fridays and now Sundays. On Mondays, the scene is at the Palms, in West Hollywood. Same people, same host, same vibe, just a different location.

Club Syren, the Saturdays only club has lost its West Hollywood location and is now in downtown LA, and is once a month only for now with August 18th the next scheduled event.

There may have been a few weeks, where attendance and the energy may have been down because of the uncertainty of when or whether the club would close, but crowds in the last few weeks have been really good, and the energy levl even better.

Please don't let misinformation or one person's opinion keep you from coming out and supporting the TG niteclub scene in LA.

If people don't go out and keep supporting these clubs, especially TS nights, they will disappear all together.

Then the energy will really be down.

I am there every week. how often are you two guys there?  I will concede it felt different when it was thought to be closing, and for a short while, when it was in flux, but now that it is settled, its the same as it ever was. Same hot girls, same lurking males, same overpriced drinks, same bad bathrooms.  There is a new owner and a new DJ, but that hasn't changed the vibe.  If you don't feel it anymore, then don't come, but if you are waiting for another place with a vibe you like, you will wait a very long time as there will never be a place like Peanuts again if it closes.

That's great to learn it's still open.  I'd read a number of threads that 7969 closed, reopened, then closed again.

I may be guilty of repeating incorrect info that I though was up to date.  Sorry.  Hope nobody read it...  Also I forget, but I think one of the girls who has a club listing site (can't recall who it is, TS Nadia??)should be updated.

Is Syrens the place that was across from Yukon Mining?   Jessica and I want to come up some weekend, but gosh the way it's going I wonder if anything will be happening.

PS - It's been a little quiet at the clubs here in San Diego too.  Last Friday I dropped by the SRO and there was like me, Mistress Diana, a couple of non-pro t-girls, and a couple of gay guys playing pool.  Saturday was pretty busy later on, with the coronation of the Imperial Court downtown.  Some guys were even wearing tuxes.  It was pretty fun.
