You made some interesting points. Since Ivy had so few reviews, that is why I invited some others to point out their experiences.

Based on a few experiences, it is tough to make a good evaluation. I concur on that one as well as the points on  someones appearance to her having an effect.

However, if a provider is consistantly distant (which Ivy may not be), then there may be a problem and someone you might not want to see.
As far as the money, in most cases you get what you pay for.
In some cases, any kind of provider may charge more than others.
That in itself doesn't assure a better experience.
In Ivy's case, she does look much better than the typical TS provider and if she consistantly provides a superior experience, then I say it is money well spent.

God I hope nobody is naive enough to take this review as gospel. Besides this is all fictional for entertainment value only

These are some guidelines I use for what they are worth.
Rule # 1
YMMV.
I have gone from both ends of the spectrum and found that there is no correlation between the $ amount and your experience. The best experiences I had were freebies.

Rule # 2
Everybody can have a bad day or experience. This goes for both the provider and the hobbyist. I never place too much credibility on the anomalies. I look for patterns. If the provider has 6 pages of fairly consistant reviews I tend to believe I have a better chance of predicting my experience. Then again if the provider has all lower ratings I tend to believe my money is better spent elsewhere.
I also look at the reviewer. If they have only one review on their record I tend to dismiss their review. I have never understood the single review. You need two for VIP status. The only thing I can figure it is there are ulterior motives.
I look to see if their reviews show a pattern. Do they give alot of 10's or alot of 5's?

Rule # 3
Remember this is somebody's livelihood you are reviewing so be fair. Sometimes "if you can't say anything good don't say anything at all" might be a good rule to follow. If you have a less than good experience give yourself a day or too to cool off before you write the review.

I agree and disagree. I think that alot of people (providers and hobbyists) are superficial. Looks are an important part of the mix. I think personality can have alot to do with this equation as well. I am not hideous but not a Hugh Jackman. I do find my personality can make up for some of my physical short comings. Just because you are visually challenged doesn't doom you to this fate. I do believe that if you are not happy with yourself it is harder for others to like you and thus the experience will suffer.  In the same thread just because the provider is beautiful doesn't guarantee you a great experience. Some of my better experiences have been with the 6's and 7's.
